Yee-Ling TANG (鄧綺玲), an Amsterdam based photography artist and lecturer, is a native of Hong Kong. She travelled with his mother to reunite his father in the Netherlands as a three-year old.

The Chinese immigrants living overseas often engaged in root searching. In her twenties, Tang began returning regularly to her homeland. Owing to her sensitiveness to different cultures, her photography led to the album “The Story of Four Generations”, in which she links the life and experiences of her grand-parents in Hong Kong with the life of her parents, herself, and her daughter, the fourth generation.

Part of her works in this album is now on display in Livecoal’s gallery. The exhibition is open to public.
